Dr. Vivek Hindurao Ksheersagar
Dr. Vivek Hindurao Ksheersagar is from Dhamner, Taluka Koregaon, District Satara, which is honoured with Maharashtra’s first prize of “Ideal Village”. He is a Master of Veterinary Sciences and also a Law graduate.
He has obtained training on various subjects and participated in discussions on different subjects. He is chairman of Raghavnagar Co-op. Hsg. Society, Dhankawadi. The society has developed a community hall and introduced rain water harvesting, plantation of medicinal plants, an earthworm manure system and borewell recharging. Pune Municipal Corporation has appreciated this work.
He has initiated Sandipani dairy & library for the society. He has been working as Managing Director with Pune Zilha Sahakari Dudh Utpadak Sangh since 2004.
During his tenure, the Sangh obtained certifications including AGMARK, ISO and HACCP for the dairy plant and introduced new dairy products. Milk and milk product sales grew substantially, with increased profit during this period.
He has undertaken study tours to Israel, Egypt, China and Hong Kong. Institutions including Vaikunth Mehta Institute of Cooperative Management, V.K. Patil Institute of Cooperative Management, Yashada and Shirval Veterinary College have organised his lectures on various subjects.
